Aberdeen Performing Arts has won more than £43,000 from the Lottery Fund. Aberdeen Performing Arts’ creative learning arm has received the money to provide theatre activities for 140 young people in the city, aged from eight to eleven.

The award follows a six-month-long project called, "Insight: Making Theatre," which involved working with Hanover Street and Kitty Brewster primaries. APA’s creative learning manager, Johanna Duncan, said that they were passionate about developing new opportunities for children.
